2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you use our Contact Us or Start a Project form, we collect:
- Your name and email address.
- Your organisation’s name, if provided.
- The service or product you are interested in, if provided.
- Your message, project requirements and any other information you choose to share.

Technical information
Our hosting infrastructure may process information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, access times and error records to operate and protect the website.
The enquiry form uses a protected representation of your IP address to briefly limit repeated submissions and help prevent abuse.
We do not currently use website analytics, advertising pixels or behavioural advertising tools.
3. Why we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to questions and enquiries.
- Discuss your requirements and prepare proposals.
- Communicate about requested services or products.
- Operate, maintain and secure the website.
- Prevent spam, misuse and unauthorised activity.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and handle disputes.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
4. Our lawful bases for processing
Depending on the circumstances, we rely on:
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Discussing services you request or preparing to enter an agreement with you | Taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or performing a contract |
| Responding to general business enquiries and protecting our website | Legitimate interests, subject to an assessment of your rights and interests |
| Meeting legal requirements | Compliance with a legal obligation |
| Optional activities requiring your permission | Consent, requested separately for the relevant activity |
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.
5. How enquiries are handled
The website sends enquiry details to our designated business email address. The custom form does not itself create a separate database of enquiry messages.
Your message and subsequent correspondence may remain in our email system. Hosting or email services may also retain delivery, security or backup records under their applicable settings.
6. Who may receive your information
Where necessary, information may be accessed by:
- Authorised ZenvyTech personnel handling your enquiry.
- Hosting, email and technical-support providers supporting our operations.
- Professional advisers where needed for legal, accounting or business matters.
- Public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
Service providers should receive only the information needed for their role and be subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection requirements.
We do not sell personal information.
7. International processing
The locations in which information is stored or accessed depend on our hosting, email and support providers.
Hosting and email processing locations: [Insert the relevant countries and providers.]
Where personal information is transferred outside Nigeria, we will use a transfer basis permitted by applicable data-protection law and implement any required safeguards. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.
8. How long we keep information
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of the nature of the enquiry, any continuing relationship, legal obligations and potential disputes.
Our retention periods are:
- Enquiries that do not become client work: [Insert the period after the last meaningful contact.]
- Client-related correspondence: Retained under the applicable client-record retention schedule and legal requirements.
- Hosting, security and email-delivery logs: [Insert the applicable retention periods.]
- Backups: Removed through [insert the applicable backup-expiry schedule].
When information is no longer required, we will delete it or anonymise it, subject to any lawful requirement to retain it.

WordPress may use cookies for login and administrative functions. Our custom enquiry form does not itself set cookies.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Please see our Cookie Policy for further information.
10. Keeping information secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please use an agreed secure method if we need to exchange sensitive documents during a project.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and any relevant exceptions, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information. You may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent.
To make a request, email contact@zenvytech.com. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe.
You may complain directly to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. You do not have to contact us first.
12. Children’s information
This website is intended for business and professional enquiries, rather than services directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information that we should not hold, please contact us so we can assess and address the situation.
13. Other websites and products
Links to external websites or product platforms are provided for convenience. Those services may collect information under their own privacy policies. Please review the relevant policy before using them.
